My students are going to have so much fun having a beach take over our classroom. I especially have loved them too because it's helped with fine motor skills for my growing students. They even used the boxes the materials were sent in to make a magic school bus and party car! I can't wait to bring those back out during that theme. They have had the best time watching our new materials arrive. \r\nYesterday in learning labs a child was playing with the sculpting lab using play dough and she had remembered a story we read last week and decided to sculpt one of the scenes from the story. Never in a million years would I have thought that a child would go home over the weekend and then return to school and know exactly what she was sculpting because she had seen the book last week. Books make a great resource for kids. It opens up their imagination. I can't wait to introduce them to these new books on transportation.
