Over the past few weeks, they have been fully engaged in hands-on learning, asking questions, testing ideas, and discovering new things through play. Thanks to your generous donations, our classroom has been able to provide exciting science materials that help bring these learning experiences to life.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest activities in our classroom has been experimenting with what can make water cold. The children are encouraged to try different techniques and observe what happens each time. As they work, they learn important science skills like making predictions, watching closely for changes, and sharing their observations in their own words. Even though they are young, they approach each experiment with curiosity and confidence. They have become more focused, persistent, and enthusiastic as they try new ideas and learn from the results whether water becomes colder right away or needs a little more time.\r\n\r\nWe have also been practicing careful thinking and problem-solving during our investigations. Students love using tools and taking part in the discovery process. They enjoy making connections between cause and effect, and they are proud when they can explain what they noticed. Science isn't just something they hear about it's something they do. Every day feels like a new opportunity to explore, learn, and grow.\r\n\r\nIn addition to our science experiments, we have been using our five senses to enjoy the world around us. The children have been exploring textures, sounds, smells, tastes, and sights through fun classroom activities and guided discussions. They learn that their senses help them understand their surroundings, and they begin to recognize how different experiences can feel, look, or sound different. This sensory learning helps build vocabulary, strengthens attention, and supports social-emotional development as children share their reactions and learn from one another.\r\n\r\nAs we continue these learning journeys, our classroom remains filled with excitement. Students can't wait to put on their science coats and transform into tiny little scientists. With every experiment and every sensory exploration, they are building a strong foundation for future learning one curious question at a time. Thank you again for supporting our kindergarten classroom and helping make these meaningful, hands-on experiences possible.","fullyFundedDate":1780565587448,"projectUrl":"project/mixes-measures-and-messes/10269904/","projectTitle":"Mixes, Measures, and Messes","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hyde","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9611343"},{"teacherId":8831993,"projectId":9384348,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, my students have exciting ways to continue learning beyond the school year!
