Students at several of the junior high schools where I am a Talented Theatre teacher used the cordless headsets, body packs and the receiver that was plugged into a set of Yamaha Speakers to perform a puppet show, a short scene from Abbott & Costello's \"Who's On First\" and a commercial about how much fun being in Talented Theatre is.\r\nThey could be HEARD AND UNDERSTOOD. We had about 400 fourth and fifth grade students, their teachers and the administration view the show. At the second school we used everything that we were awarded from Donor's Choose with the Yamaha speakers and filmed the entire show and it will be edited and shown on the school's daily broadcast. This week we will be using the equipment and the Yamaha speakers and take the show on the road to an elementary school in hopes of generating more interest in having students sign up for the Talented Theatre program. Then we will be doing a fourth round of shows at other schools and for a Talented Art's Program festival where students and parents from all 55 St. Tammany Parish public schools will be in attendance.
