My students are learning how plants grow, what they need to survive, and how to care for living things responsibly. \r\n\r\nWhen they first saw the materials, they were curious and full of questions. They were especially fascinated by the lights and the idea that plants could grow without soil. Several students immediately wanted to help set everything up. It sparked conversations, teamwork, and so much engagement right from the start.\r\n\r\nNext, we will work on tracking plant growth and measuring changes over time. Students will practice recording observations, measuring height, and identifying plant parts. We are also connecting this project to life skills by discussing responsibility, routines, and even healthy eating as we talk about harvesting what we grow. Eventually, we hope to use what we grow in a simple classroom snack so students can experience the full farm-to-table process.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for the support that made this hands-on learning possible.
