My students were so excited when they saw the books! They are eager to begin reading them! In my classroom, I have a library for my students to use. My students are given the opportunity to check out whatever books they want to read. They then take the book home, read it independently, and bring it back. Once they bring the book back, they share with me how they liked it, what parts of the book held their attention/interests the most, and if they would recommend the book.\r\n By doing this, I can then tell what books they would be interested in the most and how I can adjust my texts that I teach in class to their liking.
