Many of our students do not have the help or technology they need at home to finish class work and or homework. Students may get a start jump in doing homework at school due to parents working late and do not not have the extra support at home to help them. By introducing other ways for students to complete assignments helps them achieve the completion of work assignments. \r\n Not only are the students using the headphones for everyday Read Aloud, it also allows the students to talk into the mic on Google Docs. Using the voice text for students who struggle with writing paragraphs saved a lot of time and gave the students more confidence in writing a full paragraph compared to one sentence. This will prepare each student for any writing prompt whether in class assignments or even LEAP. \r\n My students like the many colors and have claimed that headphones are for them. They also enjoy how comfortable they are. I particularly lean to students with Accommodations. One student expressed how it was good not to lift a finger to write but to say everything using headphones with a mic and finish before other students was a breath of fresh air, more free time. It has brought comfort and stability to our day.\r\n\r\nThe school supplies have lifted a big weight off of my students' shoulders. Everyone now has what they need to fully take part in class without worry. It has created a sense of fairness and community that has truly changed the atmosphere.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has touched my students' hearts and mine as well.
