My 12th grade history students were able to fully engage in their Senior Capstone projects, where they researched and wrote 1,600–1,800 word papers on social justice topics of their choice. With the extra laptops, every student was able to participate deeply in the research and revision process, even when they did not have a computer of their own to bring to class.\r\n\r\nWhen it came time to present in front of a panel of judges, my seniors stood proud—confident in their ideas and their hard work.
