The student enrolled in my class spend this school year developing something they have never been taught, their coping skills. We spent this school year managing trauma by creating therapy sleep schedules. We organized the management of our anger through behavior logs and anger theometers. Many of my learner were able to shift their mindsets to academic success. \r\n\r\nTaking ownership in their own mindset allowed them to reflect on their triggers. One method of this process was their ability to identify the antecedents of their triggers. I was proud to rewarded their success with certificates. Our next project will focus on technology for the classroom, as most of the devices are out dated.
