The attached pictures, however, will speak volumes. Because of you, twenty-five lucky students won a copy of \"New Dragon City\" and were able to meet the author in person at a recent book festival in our parish. For many, it was truly an opportunity of a lifetime.\r\n\r\nAs a school librarian, I do my best to provide access to a wide variety of reading materials for my students. In addition to thoughtfully allocating our yearly book budget, I also fundraise through two book fairs each year. I purchase some books with my own personal funds (as does every teacher I know,) and I also take donations of books in good condition. None of these avenues, however, allow me to do what you have helped me to do.
