Thanks to your generosity and partnership, our high school students had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with college students at Xavier University of Louisiana for a powerful mentorship experience centered around addressing period poverty.\r\n\r\nThrough partnerships with campus organizations such as the Biology Club and NAACP, students participated in an \"End Period Poverty\" Block Party that brought together college students, high school students, and community partners—including women's shelters—to raise awareness and distribute essential resources.\r\n\r\nWe were honored to work with incredible organizations like Hagar's House, Ozanam Inn, and Hotel Hope in New Orleans. Our students were showered with your generous donations of hygiene products, and in the spirit of giving, they chose to donate a portion of those items to support houseless women in our community. This experience was both eye-opening and empowering, as students learned about the realities of period poverty and took part in creating meaningful change.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this event possible and for supporting the empowerment, education, and dignity of our youth and community members.
