Students will be able to use these materials to share what they have learned, highlight important historical figures and events, and make meaningful connections between history and the world around them.\r\n\r\nThe Sharpies and markers will also be used for student projects, posters, presentations, and other creative activities. These supplies allow students to express their ideas through color, design, and collaboration while building confidence in their ability to create and communicate. Whether they are designing a project, creating a classroom display, or working with classmates, students will have the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping me create a classroom where learning is engaging, creative, and meaningful. Your generosity has helped make my classroom more organized, comfortable, and welcoming for my students. We are using the binders and protective sheet covers to help students keep their African American History notes, assignments, and important class materials organized throughout the school year. Having a designated place for their work has made it easier for students to keep up with what we are learning and go back to previous materials when needed.\r\n\r\nMy students were especially excited about the classroom rug and popcorn machine! The rug has helped create a more comfortable classroom environment and is something we can use during special classroom activities and occasions. The popcorn machine, which replaced one that was no longer working, has already brought some extra excitement into our classroom. I love being able to use things like popcorn days and other small celebrations to recognize students for their hard work, participation, and accomplishments.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, my students will keep adding materials to their binders as we explore African American history and make connections between past events and the world around them today. We have many more lessons, projects, discussions, and special classroom moments ahead of us.
