The iPad and Apple Pencil became tools that truly enhanced my notes and my ability to demonstrate step-by-step tutorials for algebra skills. Last year's Algebra cohort had the most growth among all the subjects at our high school and even beat out several schools in the district. There were less than 30 of my students who scored Unsatisfactory; nearly every student grew one sub level achievement, and the diligence of note-taking, explicit modeling, and individualized support have transformed our school's academic culture. \r\n\r\nAs I type this missive, I am beginning a new academic year with a new group of incoming Algebra students, and the technology that enhanced lessons last academic year is seamlessly being used this year to drive growth and achievement in an even more intentional way! I am so grateful that this project was funded; it was a huge boost to my work last year and has lasted even into this academic year. I am sure it is a gift that will keep giving, as last year's students are now primed to take their Geometry assessments, with new teachers, but still stop by my classroom to let this year's students know Algebra is a course where they MUST take notes and practice! \r\n\r\nBeing an educator is enhanced with technology, yet it still takes the diligent effort of tilling the ground, planting the seed, and fertilizing to later be able to celebrate the growth! Thank you for seeing the vision, supporting the vision, and checking back to hear how your impact has lasted.","fullyFundedDate":1759255200651,"projectUrl":"project/all-hands-on-deck-building-confident-ma/9597906/","projectTitle":"All Hands on Deck: Building Confident Mathematical Communicators","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Spell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10081266_orig.png?crop=1122,1122,x0,y14&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1788029693562","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10081266"},{"teacherId":10088936,"projectId":9491085,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for choosing to invest in my Business and Computer Science classroom. Your generosity made it possible for us to receive essential materials like headphones, folders, laminating pouches, whiteboard erasers, paper supplies, sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and organizational tools that keep our learning space clean, structured, and ready for real engagement. These resources have already made a difference in how my students work, collaborate, and take pride in their learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe headphones help my students focus during certification prep. The wide-ruled filler paper, folders, and construction paper organizers keep our daily work smooth and clutter-free. The laminating pouches allow me to create reusable materials that stretch our resources even further. Even the simple items like microfiber cloths and dry-erase wipes make the classroom feel more professional and cared for. Every item matters, and the students feel that.\r\n\r\nYour contribution didn't just brighten my teaching. It strengthened the foundation for the future educators and leaders sitting in my room right now. My students see that people believe in them, and that motivates them to believe in themselves. Thank you for helping me create a space where they feel supported, prepared, and capable of achieving their goals.\r\n\r\nWe are grateful for your support, your kindness, and your belief in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755521889401,"projectUrl":"project/business-class-2025-edition/9491085/","projectTitle":"Business Class 2025 Edition","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. C.
