I originally set up this DonorsChoose project because I believe that providing students with safe settings for learning is crucial to their success. Tables are a stable platform that allow for students to spread out materials and keep the students from arguing over the small desk space. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to receive their new tables. They are thrilled that we can have more collaboration and learning in our classroom with furniture that no longer is a safety issue for them. They are also learning the importance of taking care of items by having to clean the tables and make sure that they are treating the tables with the upmost care.\r\n\r\nAs we continue to develop our social skills and collaboration skills, students will continue to use the tables and remain safe in the classroom.
