We are using these items daily—whether it's a student grabbing deodorant before gym class or a young lady finding the supplies she needs to stay comfortable and focused in the classroom.\r\n\r\nOne specific moment stands out: early last week, a student who is usually very quiet and often puts his head down in class came to me privately. He was able to get a fresh hygiene kit from the closet, and the shift in his demeanor was immediate. He walked back into the classroom with his head held high, participated in our 8th-grade social studies seminar, and even led his small group discussion. When the students first saw the fully stocked shelves, they were amazed that \"strangers\" cared enough about their well-being to provide these high-quality items.
