I don't think there is a grade level in our school who hasn't benefitted from having a washer and dryer here on site! As with most schools, we experience many accidents throughout the day, be it food spills on clothes, stains from art supplies, and of course toileting accidents. Being able to do a quick wash and dry and get students back in their own clothes has been such a blessing.\r\nIn addition to the above, having the washer and dryer came in very handy this winter! As I explained in my project, the vast majority of students who attend our school come from very low-income families, most of whom are living on government assistance. Having access to a washer and dryer at school allowed us to launder soiled coats, gloves, hats and clothes, giving our students a sense of dignity and pride in how they look. \r\nOur cafeteria staff have also greatly benefitted from the washer and dryer you funded! Prior to having the washer and dryer, the staff had to take the soiled items home to wash and dry them on their own time. Now they can wash and dry everything here at school and never have to worry about not having clean linens.\r\nI sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donation and providing our school with the opportunity to ensure our students' clothes and belongings are clean!
