Through the Early Steps to School Success program, we are able to partner with parents and caregivers to help children develop important early literacy, numeracy, language, and fine motor skills. Having engaging, age-appropriate materials will make learning fun while helping prepare our students for a successful transition into kindergarten.\r\n\r\nMaterials such as wooden tangram pattern blocks, soft alphabet cards, and StartScan learning toys will give children opportunities to learn through hands-on play. Pattern blocks will help students recognize shapes, develop problem-solving skills, and strengthen fine motor coordination. Alphabet cards will support letter recognition and early literacy skills, while StartScan toys will help build vocabulary, picture recognition, and language development.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project will help give our students a stronger foundation for future learning. By providing families with additional tools and resources, we can encourage learning beyond our visits and help parents become active partners in their child's education.
