Some opt for paper, but most love to use the new boards. The novelty they provide helps get the students started as they are doing practice work or an assessment. When they are done with their work, some doodle on them as a brain break, but since these boards are reusable, they are not depleting resources like dry erase markers. The boards also require less maintenance since they don't need to be cleaned.\r\nI have a few students who always hated to get out scratch paper but they are willing to go get a board - we put them up in a white bin for neat storage. The students always have access to them.\r\nWhen they enjoy writing the work, they enjoy learning more. I am thankful I will be able to let my classes use these for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1757600726937,"projectUrl":"project/a-special-tool-for-showing-math-work/9492849/","projectTitle":"A Special Tool for Showing Math Work!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10089819"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_49584","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":916,"numTeachers":58,"percentFrplEligible":74,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":87,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":85.7,"schoolId":49584,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Logan County High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Logan County High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kentucky/logan-county-school-district/logan-co-high-school/49584"}
