When our students first saw the fresh paint, career pathway posters in each hallway, and inspirational quotes, they were excited and proud to see their ideas come to life. These additions have made our hallways more inviting, giving students a sense of belonging as they see themselves represented in their chosen pathways. One memorable moment was watching them stop to read the quotes and discuss how they relate to their own goals and leadership journeys. This transformation has also sparked new ideas, inspiring students to brainstorm additional ways to improve and brighten our campus. Their next steps include creating an inspiring word wall using vinyl and a Cricut, as well as showcasing more school spirit by incorporating our mascot into the design of our hallways. Your support has truly empowered them to take ownership of their environment, and we can't wait to see how their creativity and leadership continue to grow!","fullyFundedDate":1731913042336,"projectUrl":"project/student-led-school-beautification-commit/8753515/","projectTitle":"Student-led School Beautification Committee Project","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Meade","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9739060_orig.png?crop=645,645,x150,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725910363790","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9739060"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_58334","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":887,"numTeachers":66,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":96,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"13.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":53.8,"schoolId":58334,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Johnson Central High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Johnson Central High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kentucky/johnson-county-school-district/johnson-central-high-school/58334"}
