Because of you, our students now have access to much needed basic supplies, including new books, construction paper, and baskets to help organize and care for our classroom materials. These items have already helped create a more inviting, functional learning environment where students can focus, explore, and take pride in their space. \r\n\r\nThe most exciting additions for our students were the ramp with interchangeable tops and the light table. Their excitement was immediate, and we began using both materials right away. At the light table, students explored the accessories, including the dividing tray and colorful people images, and we extended the activity by adding winter animal materials from our current classroom theme. This encouraged imaginative play, storytelling, and early problems-solving skills as students sorted, grouped, and created scenes together. \r\n\r\nStudents were equally engaged with the ramp as they experimented with the different bumpy top pieces. They tested a wide variety of vehicles of different sizes and shapes, making predictions and observing how each one moved. We later added balls to the ramp, sparking new discoveries about speed, motion, and cause and effect. These hands-on experiences have supported curiosity, collaboration, and early STEM learning in a meaningful and developmentally appropriate way. \r\n\r\nYour support has truly made a difference in our classroom.
