All of our students are pregnant and parenting and can be 13-21 years old. Our school is equipped with a child development center and a medical clinic to help minimize barriers to our students. I teach social emotional learning to every student in the building. I get the privilege at witnessing them learn greater empathy for themselves and their children; learn assertiveness skills; learn how to build healthier relationships; find ways to cope with their anger, anxiety, and sadness. It is amazing to hold for their self-reflection and growth.

About my class
