My students sit at round tables without stage space, so the chair pockets are especially beneficial for keeping their folders, books, pencil pouches etc. easily accessible for them throughout the day, which allows us to spend more time learning and transitioning smoothly from one activity to the next. \r\n\r\nMy students use the book bags you donated to keep their individual reading books in one place, protecting the books from getting bent or torn and helping students move throughout the classroom with their books when they choose cozy places to read. It's perfect! My students love having a clean, comfortable, visually appealing place to spend a lot of their school day. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the rug is very functional and contributes to a more focused learning space for my students. The rug has colorful smiley faces that coordinate with each student's table color. All of my students at the blue table know they can sit on any blue smiley face on the rug, for example. It makes it very easy for all students to have a controlled choice in where they sit, making for smoother transitions from their tables for work time to the rug for listening/instructional time. I appreciate this so much! \r\n\r\nI get so many compliments on my rug and classroom, which really makes all of the effort I put into creating a pleasant environment for my students feel validated and appreciated. My first graders love our rug and use it multiple times a day to help them have a comfortable spot to learn.
