The students were SO excited when boxes of supplies began to arrive, and our bookkeeper couldn't stop smiling when she arrived at the art room door AGAIN. We were able to unpack materials and begin using them right away - I'm including a picture of some of the tiny canvasses and easels. We spent some time creating drafts so that our finished art was beautiful. \r\nNext steps will be to start replacing some of the old tempera cakes with the new ones. You'll notice the difference in a couple of pictures - the new cakes were really needed! To be honest, we don't mind using older materials, but it is so nice to use something new. \r\nI've had several projects funded in past years, and I'm always so surprised at the support - seventeen donors this time - wowza!
