Because of your support, our classroom has become an even more welcoming and supportive environment for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. The sensory resources you provided have become part of our daily routine and are helping students develop healthy self-regulation strategies while remaining engaged in learning. The bounce bands have been especially impactful, giving students an appropriate way to meet their movement needs without disrupting instruction. I've watched students who once struggled to stay seated remain focused during lessons simply because they now have an outlet that works for them.\r\n\r\nThe sensory bins, filled with sand, Pluffle, and other sensory tools, have also made a tremendous difference. Students use these resources during structured breaks, social-emotional learning activities, and individual check-ins to help regulate their emotions and return to learning successfully. One moment that stands out to me was watching a student who would typically shut down when frustrated independently choose a sensory tool, calm themselves, and return to finish their assignment. Seeing students gain confidence in managing their own emotions has been one of the greatest gifts this project has provided.\r\n\r\nAs we continue to build our Student Success Program, these resources remain an important part of helping students strengthen emotional regulation, communication, and executive functioning skills that will benefit them long after they leave my classroom. Thank you for investing in my students and helping create a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and capable of success.
