Your gift has brought something truly special into our classroom and has made a meaningful impact on my students. What may seem like a simple audio player and collection of characters has become a wonderful tool for learning, independence, imagination, and comfort throughout our school day.\r\nMy PreK students are young learners with a wide range of abilities, interests, and developmental needs. At this age, learning happens through play, exploration, repetition, movement, and meaningful experiences. The Toniebox has given my students another way to engage with stories and music while developing important early childhood skills. It has quickly become something they look forward to using, and I have been amazed by how naturally they have incorporated it into their classroom routines.\r\nOne of the greatest benefits has been the way the Toniebox encourages a love of books and storytelling. Listening to stories allows my students to hear rich vocabulary, sentence structure, expression, and storytelling patterns even when an adult is not immediately available to read to them. They can listen to favorite stories again and again, which is especially valuable for preschool children. Repetition helps them become familiar with characters, events, vocabulary, and story sequences. I have heard students begin to anticipate what will happen next, repeat familiar phrases, and talk with their classmates about the stories they have heard.\r\nThe Toniebox has also encouraged independence in a way that is developmentally appropriate for my students. These may seem like small skills, but for a three- and four-year-old, they are important steps toward becoming confident and capable learners.\r\nAnother wonderful impact has been on our classroom's quiet and calming moments. Preschool classrooms can be busy places filled with movement, conversation, and stimulation. Having access to familiar stories and music gives students an opportunity to slow down, listen, and reset. The Toniebox has been especially helpful during quieter classroom moments and can provide a comforting activity when a child needs a little time to themselves. Stories can create a sense of familiarity and security, which is incredibly important for young children as they learn to navigate a school environment.\r\nThe Tonie characters have also made storytelling feel more tangible and engaging. Young children are naturally drawn to objects they can hold, move, and interact with, and the characters provide a concrete connection between the child and the story. Students are excited to choose a character, place it on the Toniebox, and discover what story or music awaits them. Sometimes the best learning happens when students are gathered together, listening to a story and then discussing their favorite parts.\r\nThe Toniebox has become more than a piece of technology in our classroom. It has become a tool that supports literacy, communication, social-emotional development, independence, imagination, and joyful learning. Most importantly, it gives my students another opportunity to experience the magic of stories.\r\nYour donation has helped create meaningful experiences that my students will carry with them beyond our classroom.
