Your support has created opportunities for meaningful, engaging learning experiences that our students look forward to each day.\r\n\r\nMany of our donors use technology at home but may not always see how it's used in schools. In our classroom, this technology is much more than a device. It's a learning tool that helps students think critically, collaborate effectively, and practice real-world skills. Students use it to research topics, create presentations, complete interactive lessons, receive immediate feedback, and strengthen foundational skills through differentiated programs tailored to their individual needs. It allows me to personalize instruction and provide support or enrichment exactly where it's needed!\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students has been the ability to create and share their own work in new ways! They feel empowered and motivated because the technology makes learning dynamic and engaging.\r\n\r\nThere are several students in particular who have especially warmed to this new technology. Some of my quieter students have found their voice through digital projects, confidently sharing ideas in formats that feel comfortable to them. Others who may struggle with traditional paper-and-pencil tasks are thriving with interactive features that provide instant feedback and multiple ways to demonstrate understanding. Watching their confidence grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is helping bridge the gap between curiosity and opportunity. Because of you, our students are developing skills that will serve them far beyond our classroom walls.","fullyFundedDate":1765914813074,"projectUrl":"project/printing-possibilities-for-our-classroom/9950191/","projectTitle":"Printing Possibilities for Our Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Flood","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10298234_orig.jpg?crop=1147,1147,x51,y115&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759416112211","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10298234"},{"teacherId":10298234,"projectId":9786315,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, our classroom is filled with the tools and essentials we need to learn, create, and grow every single day. Thank you for investing in our students and believing in the importance of a well-equipped learning environment!!\r\n\r\nHow are we using the new resources?\r\nThe supplies you helped purchase are already making a meaningful difference. Our students are using the materials daily for small group work, hands-on projects, and independent practice. Recently, we completed a collaborative research and presentation project where students worked in teams to explore real world problem solving topics. Having access to quality classroom essentials allowed them to organize their ideas, create polished final products, and take true ownership of their learning. Watching them confidently present their work was such a rewarding moment.\r\n\r\nHow did students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nTheir excitement was immediate and genuine! When I shared that these supplies were made possible by generous donors, there were wide eyes, big smiles, and even a few happy gasps. Several students said things like, \"This is so cool!\" They felt valued and supported, knowing that people they've never met care about their education!\r\n\r\nWhat's next in our classroom?\r\nYour support has set the stage for deeper learning. As we move forward, students will be applying these resources to our upcoming unit, where they will work through hands on activities and collaborative challenges that encourage critical thinking and creativity. The next step is a project based learning assignment where students will research, design, and create solutions connected to our current lesson objectives. Because of you, they have the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving our students more than supplies.. you've given them confidence, opportunity, and a stronger foundation for success. The snack items have become a powerful learning tool in our classroom. Students are using them to practice requesting what they want, using manners, and making choices. For many of my students, being able to ask for a preferred snack has increased their motivation to communicate and helped build independence and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen the snacks first arrived, my students were very excited. We immediately began using them during lessons and daily routines. The snacks gave us real, meaningful opportunities to model words and phrases on students' AAC devices. Students were able to see, hear, and use the words they needed to communicate what they wanted. This helped expand their vocabulary, improve their skills on their devices, and strengthen their ability to use their own voice.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using snack time as a structured learning opportunity. We are modeling core words, expanding sentences, and encouraging students to advocate for themselves using their AAC devices. Because of your generosity, my students are gaining communication skills that will support them not only in the classroom, but in real-life situations every day. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1763494166346,"projectUrl":"project/snack-time-success-supporting-sensory-n/9852045/","projectTitle":"Snack Time Success: Supporting Sensory Needs and Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10303081_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y27&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759795980550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10303081"},{"teacherId":10303081,"projectId":9795871,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our classroom has gained sensory-rich tools that make learning and everyday class time more supportive and calming for students. The vibrating pillow (our \"Bumblebee\" item) quickly became a comfort source — one of my students, who uses a wheelchair and often needs extra sensory support, seems especially soothed by it. It helps him feel secure and present, and after short breaks using the pillow, he participates more comfortably and calmly in activities.\r\n\r\nThe sensory lights and the jellyfish aquarium lamp have brought a lot of joy and focus to the class. The changing colors and gentle glow offer a calming sensory break for students who get overwhelmed or restless. Several of them now ask for a \"light break\" when they feel anxious or distracted — and after that, they seem more settled and ready to learn. The aquarium is also a favorite: the flowing \"fish\" movement and soft lighting draw in the students' attention and calm, giving them a peaceful, sensory-rich space that supports focus and emotional regulation.\r\n\r\nEven the chew necklaces — though a small addition — give some students who need oral or tactile stimulation a safe, calming option when they feel nervous or overstimulated.\r\n\r\nBecause of these items, our classroom feels more welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for students with different needs. We're using them regularly — during transitions, before lessons, or whenever a student needs a calming moment.\r\n\r\nThank you again — you didn't just donate objects. You helped build a space where children with sensory needs can feel safe, calm, and ready to learn every day.","fullyFundedDate":1761092668791,"projectUrl":"project/safe-seen-and-supported-sensory-tools/9795871/","projectTitle":"Safe, Seen, and Supported: Sensory Tools for My Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10303081_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y27&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759795980550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10303081"},{"teacherId":4525972,"projectId":9525304,"letterContent":"In our behavior classroom, there are many functions to different behaviors exhibited by my kids.
