Our school system has made a push in recent years to encourage more literacy in every class in the school. I have had so much fun incorporating music-related books in my classroom. My students have enjoyed it as well.\r\n\r\nThe Magical Yet was one of the books that we have had a lot of fun with. We were able to read it as a class and compose music to go along with it. It is a great social and emotional lesson that encourages students to keep trying when things get tough. It has been amazing watching students make those connections with books we had received. We were able to use these resources to get started with bucket drumming as well as start learning a little ukulele as well. It has been amazing watching my students take on learning new instruments even though it has been a little challenging. \r\n\r\nWithout these resources, we would not have been able to play a few bucket drumming arrangements on the buckets or even a few chords on the ukulele. Thank you so much for helping make an amazing difference so far.
