They were so happy to help me unbox our new seating and they loved the flower shape and bright colors of the stools! We do not often see new materials in our classrooms so they were as excited as I was! \r\n\r\nMy students and I use our new stools and teacher chair daily. As students are engaged in small group work, they don't have to worry about wobbly stools that have screws falling out or pinching them. They can now sit on a steady (and cute!) stool and focus on their work. My students love the cozy floor pillows to cushion them as they sit on the floor to read. The stools and flower cushions add a touchy of color and whimsy to our classroom. My new teacher chair is so comfortable and because it does not have arms, I can more easily reach my students across the table to help them as they read, write, work with manipulatives, etc.\r\n\r\nI am so thankful for your donation and I know my students are as well. We appreciate you taking the time to select my project and to donate. Students were sitting on stools that were old and falling apart. We switched them out for regular chairs, but that limited seating. This is when I submitted my project to Donors Choose. \r\n\r\nNow my students sit comfortably on stools that are small enough that I can fit eight at my desk at a time. This has increased efficiency in the classroom as I can work more effectively with an increased number of students. The stools also save my back from having to sit on the floor with larger groups. \r\n\r\nLastly, my new chair is not only soft and comfy, but fits under my desk perfectly. It also has great wheels on it so I can roll around to help students as necessary. My para received an upgrade from her old falling apart chair to the nicer office chair I had. Thank you again for transforming my classroom!
