I have had many students tell me which book they are wishing to get when they earn their book coin. Lots of the little kids were shocked that many of the books that we received where at their level and our EL population was excited to see books from their culture being put into the vending machine. \r\n\r\nMy own daughter saw some of the books that we received and asked if I would just keep them for her as it was her favorite series to read. I was happy that she wanted the books because she is a struggling reader and this made her want to read. The parents are also excited to receive their students school spirit button with the Dog House of their students. \r\nThe student will be super excited to receive their Dog House T-shirt that the staff is making with the Cricut machine and press. Each student once placed into one of the three Dog Houses will get a shirt with the Scottie dog--Skyes, Westies, or Dandies on it.
