During class today, I unpacked several boxes that have already arrived, and it was exciting to share that experience with my students.\r\n\r\nAt the beginning of the school year, I asked my students to brainstorm items that every classroom should have. This project was created directly from their ideas and requests, making it especially meaningful to see those items arrive.\r\n\r\nAs I unpack, organize, and set everything up, I get to share the excitement with my students as their vision for our classroom comes to life. It's been so much fun watching them see the materials they'll be using throughout the school year—and for years to come.\r\n\r\nFor many years, it was difficult to provide my students with all of the options and materials that best support their learning. Thanks to generous donations like yours, I am able to create a more engaging, well-equipped classroom and do my job even better.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite parts of teaching is providing students with a variety of hands-on learning experiences. The materials purchased through DonorsChoose projects help make that possible, and I love seeing students become more engaged as they learn in new and meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for investing in my students. My students are very appreciative of the pencils that were provided as some of them aren't able to afford basic school supplies. Within my classroom, we are focusing on writing narratives so we are constantly using the loose leaf paper that was purchased. Another item we use everyday is the magnetic notebook paper. This helps me demonstrate how I want their paper setup which helps the visual learners tremendously. \r\n\r\nThe students love the bean bag chair. One even asked if they could purchase it from me for $50. I like my classroom to be comfortable so having more flexible seating makes my students happy.
