This sensory area is used by all CBR students. The sensory area is used when students need a safe place to relax and take a breathe! \r\n\r\nWe appreciate the support! The students couldn't believe all the items we received. They wanted to immediately start opening the packages and seeing what is inside. Once the walls were created, we removed the padded area for the panels to be installed. The last touch we added were calming lights around the border of the panels. As I mentioned in my request, school meals are the only meals a few of my kids get, and it just isn't enough to keep them going all day long. Middle schoolers get hungry!! By providing snacks twice a day, they are able to focus on school and not on a rumbling tummy.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, students can purchase extra snacks by earning points through our classroom PBIS system.
