These materials have allowed me to target specific reading and writing skills for my English learners in a more focused and supportive way. In small groups, students receive the extra guidance they need—whether it's practicing vocabulary, building sentences, or working through reading passages at their level. The structure and scaffolds built into these resources make it easier for students to understand and stay engaged.\r\n\r\nI've already seen growth in both confidence and ability. Students are participating more during small group time, taking risks with their writing, and improving their reading comprehension. They are especially motivated by activities that break skills into manageable steps and give them opportunities to practice and apply what they've learned. Your support has made it possible to meet my students where they are and help them move forward with greater success in both reading and writing.","fullyFundedDate":1774891445809,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-esl-students-with-engaging-re/10169732/","projectTitle":"Supporting ESL Students with Engaging Reading Resources","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Schoon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10470192"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_57263","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":311,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":72,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":54,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":25,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":83.8,"schoolId":57263,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Graber Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Graber Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/hutchinson-unified-school-district-308/graber-elementary-school/57263"}
