Our students especially love the noise-canceling headphones, which have become an essential tool throughout the day. For students who are easily overwhelmed by noise, these headphones provide immediate relief and help them stay calm and focused during lessons and transitions.\r\nThe futon has quickly become a favorite spot in our calming area. Students understand that it is a place for regulation and rest, and they do an amazing job taking turns using it when their bodies need a break. We have already seen students independently choose to go there, reset, and then return to learning much more successfully. Having a comfortable, designated space has made a huge difference in helping students manage their emotions in a positive way.\r\nOur social emotional books and character tools have also had a powerful impact. Students love using these materials, especially when they are feeling upset or sad, to help show us how they feel. The stories give us meaningful opportunities to talk through real-life situations, practice problem-solving, and build emotional understanding in a way that feels safe and relatable for them.\r\nIn addition, the laminate has allowed us to create individualized supports for each student, including visual schedules, social stories, icons, and task bin materials. These supports are essential for helping our students understand expectations and stay engaged throughout the day. Students are also highly motivated by earning prizes, which reinforces positive behaviors and encourages them to keep trying their best.\r\nYour support has made a lasting impact on our classroom. You have helped create an environment where students can regulate, communicate, and grow, and we are so grateful for the difference you have made in their daily lives.","fullyFundedDate":1767710646542,"projectUrl":"project/calm-safe-loving-environment-for-our-c/9694571/","projectTitle":"Calm, Safe, Loving Environment for Our Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Arellano","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10246753"},{"teacherId":5308682,"projectId":9107035,"letterContent":"We have received our packages!
