We are using the sink and float activity to determine which items will sink or float and explaining why they do that and how we can prevent them from doing the opposite. When the students saw and used the safety glasses and the eye droppers they were giggling and smiling and so happy they had these new tools to try out. We are in the middle of our garden unit and we have had live worms and caterpillars growing and we have been able to use our new tools to add to the excitement each day. The impact of you helping my students is greatly felt because I teach in a lower income school and we do not receive much money to buy the extra fun items you have supplied to us.
