When I pulled out the projectors, several of them gasped and shouted, \"WOW!\" It was fun seeing how excited they were for all the new gifts.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've been busy creating and exploring every day. The kids have mixed colors, painted self-portraits on multicultural paper, and learned how to use the new tools to bring their ideas to life. The best part has been watching them share materials, take turns, and share supplies with each other. Our little artists are learning how to create and collaborate.\r\n\r\nNext, we're using our supplies to illustrate what we want to be when we grow up. I can't wait to see their dreams come to life through art. One of my favorite recent moments was watching students settle onto the rug with their books during independent reading time—several of them commented that it \"felt like home,\" and they stayed more focused and relaxed than I've ever seen them.\r\n\r\nThe day the rug arrived, my students' excitement was immediate. They gasped when they walked in and saw the bright, cozy space it created. Many of them rushed to sit down right away, touching the soft texture and talking about how \"our classroom looks like a real reading room now!\" That sense of ownership and comfort has helped them engage more willingly in group activities and made transitions smoother throughout the day.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, the rug will continue to play a central role in our current lessons. I cannot tell you how many times our sweet children end up in a situation where they have to wait for an outfit change. Wasted time, embarrassment and plenty of tears are no longer an issue for our littles! \r\n\r\nMy children were so curious when I opened the box for them during our circle Time. They wondered why we had so many of the same pairs of pants. The smiles and thank yous were so precious. I explained to them that if they were to need these clothes, that they would be there for them anytime. \r\n\r\nWe wrote my name on each of the items to ensure that they can come back to our school and be reused for years and years. This is truly the gift of time, and as we know time flies by with our little ones already.
