They are so excited to use everything. The main thing that we have used so far is our items for our Mercy Watson stories. They have loved the Mercy Watson books and loved the little stuffed \"Mercy\"pigs that they get to hold while I read. I feel like this has really made the book come to life for them and they are excited for storytime every day! They actually sit and listen. They are able to retell the parts of the story from the day before. I feel like our Mercy Watson items help them to stay more engaged. \r\n\r\nWe also used some of the items to do Nursery Rhyme Olympics at the end of our nursery rhyme unit. The kids especially loved the bouncy balls... They were a lot of fun and very good for gross motor skills as well.\r\n\r\nWe have an upcoming farm unit that we will be using some of the farm animals and masks to act out some of the stories. We will also be using a lot of the stuff with a new book series called Zoey and Sassafras that we will begin in January.
