I had a vision for a classroom where my students would feel safe, welcomed, comfortable, and excited to come to school each day. Your generosity has helped to make that vision possible.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments has been watching students find comfortable reading spots with the new flexible seating options and enjoying these new spots so much that they don't want to put down their books. Many of the supplies have also supported our science learning activities. They build, test, take things apart, try again, and encourage one another along the way. Those moments are exactly what I hoped for when I filled my Donors Choose list.\r\n\r\nWatching my students react to all of the new materials was priceless! They were in awe and my favorite reaction was, \"all of this is for us?!\" Seeing students excited about a new set of markers, choosing a comfortable place to sit, or immediately wanting to build something reminded me why classroom resources matter so much. Every little piece has helped make our classroom feel more like ours.\r\n\r\nThroughout the year, my students will continue using these resources during our science and STEAM learning, literacy activities, creative projects, and social-emotional learning. Most of all, my students will use our new materials to discover what they are capable of doing. My biggest hope is that when my students look around our classroom, they see a place where they belong. Thank you for helping me create that place.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done more than fill an empty classroom with supplies. You helped fill it with possibility. I am incredibly grateful for your belief in our classroom and for giving my students resources that will continue to make a difference throughout the school year and for years to come.\r\n\r\nWith heartfelt gratitude,\r\n\r\nMrs. Stueder\r\n4th Grade Teacher\r\nCentral Plains Elementary School","fullyFundedDate":1787331691708,"projectUrl":"project/help-me-turn-my-empty-classroom-into-a-l/10351283/","projectTitle":"Help Me Turn My Empty Classroom into a Learning Home!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stueder","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10537962_orig.png?crop=1024,1024,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1787353926331","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10537962"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_56508","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":202,"numTeachers":13,"percentFrplEligible":33,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"15.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":56508,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Central Plains Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Central Plains Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/central-plains-unif-sd-112/claflin-elementary-school/56508"}
