They have really enjoyed the process of watching the plants go from a seed to a plant that they can eat.\r\nThe learning of the responsibility of taking care of the garden and the process it takes to make sure that the plants are getting the correct amount of light and water is very useful in their future growing plants. They have to use their knowledge of what we are learning in Science to make sure the PH is correct for the plants as well.\r\nThis opportunity will last them a life time. They can take the knowledge they are learning in 4th grade and use it at home and when they are adults. Thank you for giving them the opportunity to share their plants and knowledge with the school. They love telling the other student that they have helped provide vegetables for the school to eat for lunch.
