It has been so helpful in my special education classroom. I have been able to create an abundance of task boxes that my students have loved working with. It has also been extremely helpful to have the bean bag filler to fill more of my bean bags. This has been an alternate seating for some of my students who are wheelchair bound. They have been able to join their peers on the carpet while playing or having carpet time. It has also been so nice to have the cleaning supplies. Most of my students' supplies go to the gen-ed teachers, but I have to clean things more often to keep everyone healthy. This has been a great addition to my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1778262227760,"projectUrl":"project/lets-adapt/10229218/","projectTitle":"Let's Adapt!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bing","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10339395_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1777237911551","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10339395"},{"teacherId":5415448,"projectId":9977843,"letterContent":"I would like to sincerely thank you for all the materials this Donor's Choose project provided for my classroom. It has been so much fun to watch the students build with the magnetic blocks, magnetic tiles, and Legos. We are currently spending a week being builders and using all these materials to build houses, bridges, and buildings. \r\nWhen the materials were delivered to our door, I heard lots of whispering and then squealing, as I pulled new hands on activities out of the box. Their excitement to get their hands on the materials and play with them is awesome. \r\nHaving new and interesting materials to add to our classroom routine just promotes thinking skills, building skills, imagination, and opportunities to share.\r\nI am so grateful that Donor's Choose helps teachers provide many opportunities for the kids in their classroom. This was not my first project funded by Donor's Choose and it will not be my last. I am very vocal in sharing with teachers around me the benefits of getting involved in this program.\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU- THANK YOU- THANK YOU!! Your belief and backing in these kids makes a huge difference.","fullyFundedDate":1768548799056,"projectUrl":"project/busy-hands/9977843/","projectTitle":"Busy Hands","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Nusz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5415448_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1526933752678","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-nusz"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60738","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":335,"numTeachers":16,"percentFrplEligible":52,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":78,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":12,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"20.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":68.1,"schoolId":60738,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Ewalt Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Ewalt Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/augusta-unified-school-district-402/ewalt-elementary-school/60738"}
