With 25 students in my classroom, there are many diverse needs and being able to provide flexible seating expands our learning opportunities and builds our engagement. \r\n\r\nOne of the additions that my students immediately enjoyed were the pillow seating that we utilize at our fluency table and reading corner area. Students love being able to sit comfortably as they engage in reading and collaborating with one another. All students also have access to our wiggle spots. Students are able to utilize one in our calm down area and then for students who need that extra support, they use them on carpet or at their desk. The ability to move around and utilize the sensory tops have helped students regulate themselves and channel their energy in a way that helps them to focus. \r\n\r\nAs we finish out this year, our goal is to continue thinking of ways to create a space where all learners feel welcomed, valued and engaged. Thank you for providing our classroom with the tools to be successful.","fullyFundedDate":1769191961011,"projectUrl":"project/wiggle-focus-learn/10039782/","projectTitle":"Wiggle, Focus, Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10412012_orig.jpg?crop=1698,1698,x401,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768697042679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-jones02"},{"teacherId":10412012,"projectId":10039831,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping to create a clean and safe space for my students. My students were elated to see all the various cleaning supplies, especially the push vacuum and brooms. In our classroom, we have leadership teams that students \"apply\" for. The team that helps with our cleaning resources is my supply team. My supply team has enjoyed being able to act as leaders in our classroom to help continue making it a beautiful space to work in and we have received high compliments from other staff members and our custodial team. \r\n\r\nIn addition to this, our building has a wonderful initiative and competition that challenges our students with keeping clean and safe space. This initiative is called The Golden Broom. Every month, a classroom from K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 are selected by the custodial team as the recipients for the award. When I joined my class in December, this was one of the biggest goals. With surprise, we were able to receive that award because my students had the resources to help create a clean and safe space. They eagerly await our next assembly to hear if they have secured the award again. \r\n\r\nAs we are quickly approach the end of the year, we are starting a module about making our world a better place. We are able to reflect on this concept through the actions that we take in making our classroom a better place and also making our school a better place. Thank you for providing my classroom with these resources and connections that go beyond our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1769192007802,"projectUrl":"project/clean-spaces-calm-learners/10039831/","projectTitle":"Clean Spaces, Calm Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10412012_orig.jpg?crop=1698,1698,x401,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768697042679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-jones02"},{"teacherId":4203709,"projectId":9503126,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping my kids feel full.
