We have had such fun incorporating these classroom items into our everyday learning experiences. Ziggy the Rainbow Monster Puppet has helped teach concepts in preschool, kindergarten, and first grade classes. The first graders used the glowing pop tubes to explore high and low sounds by bending the tubes into interesting shapes and following the direction of the lines with their voices.\r\n\r\nThe third grade classes have really been exploring the ribbon wands. We started by improvising movement with various songs and just getting the feel for how we could make different patterns and shapes with the ribbons. After that, each class created a ribbon wand routine to a different song and then got to perform the creations of other classes.\r\n\r\nAll of the classes have been especially excited about using the liquid tiles. We've used them to mark scattered spaces around the room for various movement activities and the fourth and fifth graders discovered that they're great surfaces for drumming with our drumsticks. It's been an exciting few weeks since we got our materials and I can't wait to see how they continue to enhance student learning!","fullyFundedDate":1753461979550,"projectUrl":"project/we-like-to-move-it-move-it/9473851/","projectTitle":"We Like to Move It!
