With having the clear folders I am saving paper because I can print of a few copies of the worksheets and use the clear folder and a dry erase marker. The binders and folders are a life saver to keep all their progress monitoring organized and easily accessible. With the students each having a place to put their work nothing gets lost. Having games and manipulatives allows the students to have a hands on ability to learn. Thanks to your generous donations I have an inviting room that kids have the opportunity to learn in away that works best for them. \r\n\r\nA lot of my students live at poverty level or below. They are not able to but the basic school supplies. Having bright new school supplies literally had my students light up and dig in. They actually took their time and did their best work. Students are getting the individual attention they deserve while receiving immediate feedback.\r\n\r\nThe rug has created cozy, inviting spaces where students can take breaks, read, or participate in group discussions. The calming effects of the rugs and sensory tools have helped reduce anxiety levels and create a safe and nurturing environment where all students feel valued and accepted. Sensory items such as fidgets and calming boards have also been instrumental in helping students who struggle with focus and emotional regulation.\r\n\r\nThe organization's pouches and shelves have empowered me and my students by giving them greater independence. My students' eyes lit up as we unpacked everything — they couldn't believe these resources were really for them. We have been working on visual one-pagers for the short stories we've read so far this year. Rikki Tikki Tavi was a favorite read. Students are also creating book review posters to share the story of the self-selected book they have been reading on their own. It's amazing to see how much more engaged and confident students are when they have the tools they need right in front of them.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments came during our Rikki Tikki Tavi wanted poster creation when I overheard a student say, \"This makes class so much more fun!\" That sense of excitement and pride is exactly what I hoped these materials would inspire.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our current unit, my students are working collaboratively on presentations related to the novel A Long Walk to Water. Your donation help with supplies like cleaning supplies, rewards, pencils, markers, chargers and electrical pencil sharpeners are example of few thing we really need to finish strong. \r\n\r\nWays it impacted out student was the notebooks and pencil got us away from screen time. Electric pencil sharpeners are excellent so no excuse for not being able to write or have pencils since the donation include pencils and pens.
