One of my students has made incredible progress with letter recognition and communication. Before receiving the textured letter tiles, this student could only identify one letter. Now, they are able to identify and say all 26 letters of the alphabet! The textured tiles have provided a hands-on way for this student to explore and learn letters, making a skill that once seemed difficult much more accessible and meaningful.\r\n\r\nThe snap-together blocks have also helped another student begin connecting words in a hands-on and engaging way. Instead of simply seeing words on a page, the student can physically build and connect them, helping make the learning process more concrete. Additionally, all of my students are actively engaging in math activities because of the new manipulatives. These materials have given my students opportunities to learn through touching, building, and exploring, allowing them to participate in ways that work best for their individual learning needs.
