Thanks to you, the students are now able to practice sound to letter correspondence, alphabetical order, and CVC word spellings. The students loved being able to take the magnets off of the board and then practice putting them back on as quickly as possible. They didn't realize how much valuable practice they were getting with this activity! It also allowed for teachers to discuss the slight differences between letters like b, d, p, and q. \r\n\r\nYour donation impacts teachers as well as students. The magnetic letters are sturdy, store easily, and will last for years to come. Teachers are easily able to assess their students' understanding and adjust their instruction based on what the students are showing with the magnets. Thanks to your donation, we were able to purchase much-needed instructional materials that are now being used daily during our small-group intervention time.\r\n\r\nThese new resources have made a meaningful difference in our work with students as we build essential comprehension skills. We have been focusing specifically on identifying key details, understanding main idea, and making inferences—skills that are not only vital for confident reading, but are also a major component of IREAD, Indiana's statewide measure of reading achievement. Your contribution has directly supported our students as they prepare for this important milestone.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting outcomes has been the level of engagement we've seen in our learners. The stories are fresh, fun, and relevant—exactly what our students needed to spark interest and sustain motivation. They feel proud to have \"brand-new reading materials,\" and this excitement helps them stay connected, remember what they've learned, and apply their skills more independently. We're witnessing students talk enthusiastically about what they've read, share their thinking, and celebrate their own growth.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made this possible.
