Since we can come together more at the carpet, participation has increased also. The students within my classroom get to move and get their energy out while they are working. The love it. It makes all the difference in their learning. \r\n\r\nMy rug creates a daily cozy experience when doing group time, on the floor, during reading. We gather on the rug to read whole group stories, and dor various reading activities. They also have small group time during math stations daily. They do this on the rug.
