Your support is making it possible for my students with special needs to have access to fun, engaging activities that help them build important physical and motor skills. The hopscotch and ring toss equipment will be wonderful additions to our PE obstacle courses. Students will be able to practice balance, coordination, jumping, throwing, hand-eye coordination, and motor planning as they move through each station. The activities can be modified to meet each student's individual needs and abilities, giving everyone the opportunity to participate, practice new skills, and experience success.\r\n\r\nThe beach balls will also provide so many wonderful opportunities for my students. Because they are lightweight and move more slowly than traditional balls, they are easier for many of my students to track, catch, and toss. We will use them for partner activities, catching and tossing practice, and modified volleyball games. These activities will help students work on hand-eye coordination, timing, motor planning, upper-body strength, teamwork, and following directions. Just as importantly, they give my students opportunities to interact with their peers, be active, and enjoy the excitement of playing a game together.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is helping create a PE environment where all of my students can participate, learn, and feel successful. These may seem like simple pieces of equipment, but they will make a meaningful difference in the experiences my students have in physical education.
