Your generosity has truly made a difference for my students.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the magnetic tiles and LEGOs in our STEM bins, and they have quickly become a favorite part of our day. One memorable moment was watching students work together to build creative structures—everything from houses to imaginative designs—while talking through their ideas and problem-solving as a team. These hands-on experiences are helping them build important skills in creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students were so eager to explore, and their faces lit up when they saw the new STEM tools. It was such a joy to see their curiosity take over as they began building right away.\r\n\r\nYour donations also helped provide much-needed classroom essentials like Kleenex and Clorox wipes. Having these supplies available has made a big difference in keeping our classroom clean, comfortable, and ready for learning each day.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these STEM bins to encourage students to design, build, and problem-solve. We are beginning to incorporate more structured challenges, where students will plan and draw their ideas before building, helping them strengthen both their creativity and academic skills.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making our classroom a more engaging, supportive, and inspiring place to learn!\r\n\r\nWith gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1776095877219,"projectUrl":"project/student-needs/10095138/","projectTitle":"Student Needs!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Morgan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3631657_orig.jpg?crop=2274,2274,x119,y1144&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1765852678824","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/miss-case"},{"teacherId":2950993,"projectId":9732470,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. Your generosity has already made a meaningful difference for my students.\r\nI teach a small self-contained classroom that supports students with behavioral and emotional needs. Many of my students struggle with frustration, regulation, and feeling safe and comfortable in a school environment. Because of your donations, we were able to add new sensory and regulation resources that help students calm their bodies, refocus, and successfully return to learning.\r\n We have already started using the sensory and regulation supports throughout the school day. Students are using the tools during breaks, calming routines, and when they begin to feel overwhelmed. Instead of escalating into larger behaviors, many students are learning to pause, choose a regulation strategy, and return to their work more quickly. Watching students recognize their own needs and use these supports has been incredibly powerful.\r\n One resource that has already made a big impact is the classroom refrigerator. It allows us to keep extra snacks and drinks available for students throughout the day. For many of my students, hunger and thirst can make regulation much more difficult. Being able to offer a quick snack or drink during a regulation break helps students stabilize their bodies and return to learning much more successfully.\r\nThese resources support more than academics; they help students build the lifelong skill of recognizing when they need a break and learning how to calm and regulate themselves healthily.\r\n Moving forward, we will continue using these sensory and regulation supports as part of our daily routines and calming strategies. My goal is always to help students feel safe, supported, and capable at school, and your generosity helps make that possible.\r\n Thank you again for investing in my students and helping create a classroom environment where they can succeed.\r\n\r\nWith gratitude,\r\nMrs. Kreuzman","fullyFundedDate":1766156437695,"projectUrl":"project/regulation-station-in-our-safe-space/9732470/","projectTitle":"Regulation Station in our Safe \"Space\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kreuzman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2950993_orig.png?crop=320,321,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1778776132683","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-kreuzman"},{"teacherId":3631657,"projectId":9690199,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our students now have additional resources that strengthen the Knowledge portion of our CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) reading program. In early elementary classrooms, reading is not only about learning letters and sounds — it is also about building background knowledge and vocabulary so students can better understand what they read. The materials purchased through this project help bring these topics to life through engaging visuals, hands-on activities, and interactive learning experiences.\r\nMany donors are familiar with technology or learning tools at home, but in the classroom these resources are used to deepen understanding and spark curiosity. During our Knowledge Block, students learn about science, history, and the world around them while practicing listening, speaking, and comprehension skills. The new materials allow students to see, touch, and discuss what they are learning, helping them make stronger connections and remember new information more easily.\r\nStudents are especially excited when lessons feel real and connected to the world beyond our classroom. The new resources have made discussions richer and have encouraged students to ask thoughtful questions and share their ideas with confidence. I have seen students who typically struggle to stay engaged become eager participants during these lessons because the content feels meaningful and accessible to them.\r\nSeveral students who benefit most are those who need extra support with vocabulary and language development. Having concrete materials and visuals helps them better understand complex topics and gives them confidence to participate in class conversations. It has been wonderful to watch students grow in both knowledge and confidence as readers and learners.\r\nYour generosity has helped create stronger readers by building the knowledge and curiosity that reading comprehension depends on.
