Because of your donations to our class project 'Sounds Like Fun', my students became excited and explore the items during our Free Play. I purposely used Alphabet Learning Locks, Alphabet Rockets, and Alphabet Teaching Sound Tubs during our Small Group and Transition Times to focus on Letter Recognition, Phonics, and Matching Letters to their Sounds.\r\n\r\n I later would expand and assess my students' learning by implementing challenging activities during our Practice Centers and Large Group Times. Letter Hunt throughout the classroom, journal writing of Upper and Lowercase Letters, and Scavenger Hunt in the classroom for items that would begin with the letter sound were a few activities to support our students' learning. I would also challenge my students to create words that would rhyme with items used within the Teaching Tubs.
