My children really need to have these selected items because during their play time they love to role play and include many real life experiences in their play. At large group time, the children love to sit on the carpet and be comfortable. They lie down, sit up and dream, as they imagine the places they can explore while they are being read to. The children love to work with puzzles. They make requests to have their friends work with them, they also love to have their teachers work with them too. The large floor puzzles are excellent talking points. I can use the pictures on the puzzles to ask questions and share new information to help the children expand their knowledge and problem solving skills.
