The children are absolutely in love with the babies and all their accessories. We have a few students that are becoming a big brother or sister soon and they both love to practice taking care of the babies. The animals have helped so much with our animal unit. I love how realistic they are. When the students were working on classifying the animals they had so much fun being able to use the animal figures rather than using pictures like we had done in the past. ALL of our students showed significant progress in their letter identification on the last assessment. It was so much fun to play the ABC blind box game and ABC soup game with them. We also used the ABC blind box to teach attributes during our sense's week. \r\nWhen we first received the items, the kids were all so excited. They loved watching out our big window as the delivery driver brought in the boxes. Since it was right before Winter break we did not open them until the students got back. One child said \"Now we can actually be excited to come back to school after Christmas time!\" \r\nWith all the changes happening in the American Education System; especially to the HeadStart program your donation not only helped with supplies but made our school feel loved and supported through this though times of unknows.
