Your donations have already made an impact on my students! I am using the magnetic base ten blocks almost daily with my first and second graders. It has been a great tool to help them visualize and understand place value concepts and composing/decomposing numbers. The magnetic ten frame and number bonds have been a good tool for my kindergarten groups. My students love these magnetic tools and think they are really cool! I have been able to create a rolling cart that can travel to different hallways in our school. The impact is significant because it helps students from K-3rd grade in many different classrooms. Working with math manipulatives is the most concrete way for our students to develop math concepts and understanding, and your donation will help hundreds of students! \r\n\r\nA huge component of this project was the rekenrek set. I am finishing my masters next semester and would like to create a rekenrek routine for my action research project. The tools you helped provide will allow me to develop new techniques for our school. I am hopeful that we will see good results and we can start to build rekenrek routines into more classrooms in my school.
